Recent studies have shown that sitting for long periods of time is no good for our health. There are many health issues that can crop up because of staying seated for a long time. These include neck and back issues because the neck compresses more while sitting. Humans were not meant to remain sedentary for very long periods of time. Our bodies are in an unnatural state while sitting in a chair, despite how relaxing or good it may feel at the time.
